Small? Indeed. (However, not even close to the smallest trout I've ever caught.) But the colors on this, my only brook trout so far, make it one of my very favorite. He came from the North Branch of the Potomac, about this time last year.

Great brookie! Yet to bring one in myself, so the pursuit continues (sure to be my favorite as well no matter the size).
Thanks! I didn't want to let this one go, I just kept staring at it. Maybe I'll go back in three or four more years and catch him when he's big!
